What we see in Manotick homes
Manotick's village core has older homes close to the river, some of them dating to the 1800s. Around it are subdivisions with larger houses on big lots, many of them more recent. Big, spread-out houses often need more than one zone or a second system to stay comfortable, especially where additions were built over the years.
Not every Manotick home is on natural gas, particularly outside the village. Houses heated by propane, oil or electricity can qualify for up to $7,500 toward a cold-climate heat pump under Ontario's Home Renovation Savings program. The rebate depends on pre-approval and installation by a participating contractor, so confirm those steps before any work starts.
Larger lots here also mean backyard pools. A gas or propane pool heater, or a heat pump pool heater, can extend the swimming season in spring and fall. We install and service pool heaters, and many Manotick homes also suit a Napoleon gas or propane fireplace for a main living area or sunroom.

Do you service pool heaters in Manotick?
Yes. We install and repair pool heaters, including gas, propane and heat pump models. Spring start-up is a good time to have one checked.
Our house is on propane. Is switching to a heat pump worth pricing out?
Yes. Homes not heated by natural gas can qualify for up to $7,500 toward a cold-climate heat pump, and the propane furnace can stay as backup. We'll look at your house and ducts and give you the options in writing.
Our addition is always colder than the rest of the house. What can we do?
Additions are often at the end of a long duct run or not connected to the main system at all. Extending or rebalancing the ductwork is one fix; a ductless mini-split head is another.
